TRITIUM ANALYSIS -
QA/QC POLICY
Blanks and duplicates
are run with the samples on a frequency of one each per batch of 10 and
are included at no charge for sample quantities of 10 or more. For sample
quantities of less than 10, a reduced price for the blank and duplicate
(if desired) can be negotiated, especially if the QA/QC from a recent
batch can be shared. The basis for sharing QA/QC must be discussed
in advance.

POLICY
For
sample quanitities of 10 or more per job, a discount of 10% is awarded.
QA/QC and data package are included in the price of the sample for sample
quantities of 10 or more.

A standard
data package is provided comprising a spreadsheet that summarizes all
of the counting data and the measured and calculated results. Estimates
of the error associated with those measurements, and relevant calculations,
are provided in the spread sheet. The calculated error is normally based
on a two-standard-deviation confidence interval. The error estimate in
the final results is propagated on counting error, weighing error, and
the error in the measurement of counting efficiency. The calculation/formulae
used in the spreadsheet are annotated and each column explained.
A data
package with additional items can be provided for a negotiated fee.
